Foil Bonded HeatersFoil bonded heaters are used in many applications. One of the most common is as an anti-condensate heater in refrigerators. Springfield Wire elements are found in most brands of domestic (home) refrigerators as well as in commercial units for grocery stores, convenience stores and restaurants. |
Dishwasher ElementsDishwasher elements can be designed in an infinite variety of shapes and
wattage's. Our self-regulating, PTC style heater designs produce more
wattage in water and less in open air. End treatments and bushings are
designed custom for each application.

Commercial Industrial ElementsBased on our many years of experience and knowledge of manufacturing, we
have continued to expand and improve our production facilities to
accommodate the growing number of requests for high wattage immersion
process elements, commercial food service elements, industrial oven
elements and small appliance heaters.

Compressor HeatersThese elements have been used in the field for many years and represent a
tried and true design. Special high-grade aluminum tubing is used to
guarantee against contamination.

Defrost ElementsThe most common application for these heaters is as a defrost element in
domestic and commercial refrigerators. Springfield Wire elements are
found in most of the homes in the US, quietly keeping refrigerators and
freezers frost free.

Heater HarnessesHarness length is limited only by the wattage per foot and the available
resistance wire. PVC wire is limited to 3 watts per foot maximum and
silicone can go as high as 15 watts per foot if properly heat sinked.

Filter MediaSome of the applications that have used our filter media are: cleaning sponges for use on rollers in the printing and paper industry and filter media used in exhaust systems on gas furnaces to muffle sound.
